Originally crafted, tested, and perfected by John Uzick of Pennsylvania during his fishing trips to Ontario, these custom spinner rigs quickly became a secret weapon for local guides. In the mid-1980s, John handed the manufacturing process down to his longtime friend David Delcloo—known across the Canadian angling community as "Superdad." David proudly produced these premium walleye lures in Kingston, Ontario, and Hay Bay for over 28 years.

 

In 2024, Grandpa’s Tackle Box took over production to ensure this Canadian fishing legacy continues. Every single spinner is manufactured and rigged using the exact heritage methods as our predecessors, guaranteeing a flawless presentation every time you drop it in the water.

Tangle-Free In-Line Trolling Sinkers

Line twist is the biggest enemy of a successful trolling run. Our pre-rigged spinner systems completely eliminate this issue. The included in-line trolling sinkers feature high-quality swivels molded directly into both ends of the lead weight. This heavy-duty, dual-swivel design completely absorbs the rotational torque of the spinning blade, preventing line kinks, twists, and tangles at high trolling speeds.
